Good Morning Everyone

I hope you all had a great weekend and got lots of crafting done.

I am here to show you the last 3 cards in the Parade of Cards from my recent team swap.

First up is a card from Mitosu Crafts, which is run by Barry & Sanjay.

This is a fabulous card using the Daisy Delight Bundle, which I think  be a new firm favourite when the Catalogue is released later this week.

Thank You Barry and Sanjay.

The next two cards, unfortunately, had no names so,  I can't give credit. However, if you are reading my post & see your swap, please give me a shout and I will credit it to you.

This card uses 2 stampsets that are carrying over, Playful Backgrounds and Feather Together.

This is the final card

This card showcases 2 new in colours, lemon lime twist and tranquil tide... then sentiment is is from the new stampset Lovely Friends.

I do hope you have enjoyed looking at the swaps I received as much as I enjoyed getting them.

As you know the new catalogue is launching this week, so if you would like to receive one, (and you live in the UK) email me at wowcrafting@outlook.com.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Stamping!

Good Morning Everyone

Well I finally managed to get my internet access sorted out yesterday tea time. To be honest I still am not totally sure what happened to it. Mr Tom, had a look at it when he got in from work and all of a sudden it seemed to re-allocate. I am not what you would call a techy, so I am pretty much at the mercy of general guesswork and a wing and a prayer.

Anyway, I hope your Bank Holiday got off to a good start (for those of you in the UK) and you can relish 2 more days at home, with crafting planned.

As I promised, here are a few of the swaps I received at Team Training last weekend and they are to provide inspiration for the upcoming New Catalogue, due out next week, YAAY!

This fabulous card is by Angela Ralph, and I just love her colour combination. This is the Beautiful You stampset and it is carrying over to the New Catty... if you don' t have it already, I recommend you get it.

Next up is a card by Jane Harry

Jane has used one of the new Hostess Sets called In The City.
I love how she has colourwashed a rainbow background. This is going to be on my wishlist as soon as the catalogue launches.

The third card is by Hilary Wright

Hilary had used the new Daisy Delight bundle, isn't that Daisy gorgeous? You stamp it then using the matching punch, you punch it out. Such an adorable card.

Lastly but not least is a card by Karen Ripley

Karen has used the Swirly Scribbles stamp set which is carrying over, she has punched out the balloons using the balloon bouquet punch and the card looks amazing, do you see the DSP she has used to mat the panels onto that is from the new Fresh Florals DSP paperstack and that colour is one of the new In Colours, Lemon Lime Twist, it is totally gorgeous!

So, you can see what a talented bunch of peeps there are in my team and hopefully, you have seen something from this selection to tempt you to get a new catalogue.

Now remember if you don't already have your name down for a Catalogue then please contact me at wowcrafting@outlook.com and I can sort out getting one to you. I can only do this if you are based in the UK though.

Thank you for looking.
Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you do.
Happy Stamping!

Good Morning Everyone
This is an emergency post off my mobile. If you popped by to see my parade of cards today, I am very sorry but my laptop has somehow disconnected from the internet and despite my trying all morning to reconnect it - I have had no success.
So no cards I am afraid. Normal service will be resumed as soon as I can reconnect. In the meantime.
Happy Stamping!

Good Morning Everyone

Phew! What a scorcher we have had so far this week. It's fabulous!

Now, today's card is a my Swap that I took to team training last Saturday. I love, love, love, this card and I had great fun making it, well 15 of them actually, & this is a great card to mass produce.

This card looks quite Autumnal, I know, but the Stampset is far more than a one trick pony, I can assure you. The images cover all four seasons, with blossoms and a tree branch  for Spring, a deckchair and the CUTEST tumbler of drink with a straw for Summer, leaves for Autumn, Snowflakes for winter and no less than 6, yes 6 sentiments. There are 24 stamps in this set. I just know this is going to be a hugely popular buy because it can cover so many occasions throughout the year. It will come in a bundle, in the new Catalogue, with framelits, that cut out the images but also a couple of standalone dies, one of which is a curved border die.

This bundle, I can tell you, is the real deal! When they previewed it at Onstage in April, everyone was wowed and everyone (& I mean everyone) was ordering it.
Whats not to love?..... 24 stamps & 17 dies, in a 10% off bundle.

Anyway, back to the card. We make swaps to give each other inspiration and we use products from the upcoming Catalogue because we want to give you guys inspiration as well. So, I figured I would show the versatility of this set by choosing the leaves.

I cut myself a panel of Whisper White Cardstock, and cut a panel of Early Expresso 1/8" larger than the White panel, which I matted together.

I stamped the leaves in Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz, a gorgeous combination. I stamped some of the leaves full strength and some of them I stamped off a couple of times (onto scrap paper) and then stamped on the project. I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso.

I tied a bow with Whisper White Bakers twine then stuck this panel to a cardbase of Pear Pizzazz.
I then used my scoreboard to score the lines on either side of the panel give the card a little more visual interest.

Et Voila....A lovely card for my swap, which hopefully everyone liked.
Now I got several swaps in return which after the new Catty is released, I will showcase a few to you here on my blog.

If, you haven't organised to receive a Catalogue yet... but would like one, please feel free to email me wowcrafting@outlook.com and we can sort out getting one to you. I can only do this for the UK though.

As usual, the links to the products I have used in the card are at the bottom of the page, press the image and it will take you through to my online shop where you can purchase it.  However, I can't give you any links to the Colourful Seasons bundle, as it isn't released until June 1. But put it onto your wish list, you won't regret it.

Thanks for popping by today, don't forget to check back in on Saturday to see some of the swaps I received.

Happy Stamping!

Good Morning All
Well what fabulous weather we have been having all week here in the UK. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come.

Well today I have my entry for the Global Design Challenge and this week we are CASEing a fabuous card by a member of the GDP Design Team, Shawn De Oliviera.

Here is my card

Here is Shawn's gorgeous Card

Now for those of you that don't know what CASEing it, a quick recap, it means we get to draw inspiration from the card to be CASE'd, in this instance it was a member of the Design Team. The elements that I chose to take from Shawn's card were the colours, Gold, Pink, & Green and to use a large floral image to take centre stage on the card.

I decided to use the Birthday Blooms stampset, which is one I have only recently acquired, why I didn't buy it before I don't know. It is totally GORGEOUS!!! AND the good news is it is carrying over into the New Annual Catalogue. Yaay for that!

I embossed the beautiful big bloom in Gold on a panel of Whisper White cardstock and the watercoloured it with Blushing Bride & Pear Pizzazz. Green, Pink & Gold is such an elegant combination I think and it shrieks of summer weddings & happy times to me... what about you? The very centre of the bloom, I took my Stampin' Write marker in Crumbcake and dotted in the seed heads, to make it slightly darker which adds some visual depth.

Next I embossed the sentiment from the same set on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with an oval thinlet die. The crimped edge dies come in the same set with the straight edged ovals, which gives so many more possibilities for matting and layering. A great set to have in your crafty stash. Then I cut a slightly larger oval in Blushing Bride and matted the sentiment onto it. I popped it up onto dimensionals and placed onto the panel.

I mounted the panel onto a Blushing Bride cardbase which I cut portrait style, (see here)
and there we have it, simple as!

Have a look through your stash and see if you have a stamp with a large bloom on it, then go ahead and give it a try. It is such a simple, fun card to make and it would be perfect for a variety of occasions.

As usual the products I have used on this card are listed below and if you wish to buy any or all of the items, press on the image and it will take you through to my online shop, where you can shop from the comfort of your armchair and have them delivered right to your door.

Thanks for dropping by today &
Happy Stamping!

Balloon Adventures, Party Animal DSP, Stampin' Up, Happy Birthday

Good Morning Everyone

Well, it is Monday Morning again and May moves apace. June will soon be here and with it a new Stampin' Up Catalogue. Which means there will be sad farewells to some of our stampsets and today's stampset is one of the retiring ones. Balloon Adventures, I have featured this previously, HEREHERE and HERE, I absolutely LOVE this stampset and trust me, if I had to choose one stampset from the retiring ones it would be this one. There is no way this one will be leaving my crafty stash. Coupled with the Balloon Bouquet Punch this makes a great combo for any birthday card, masculine, feminine, young or old, 'cos who doesn't like balloons on their birthday right?

Here's today's card

This card is simple to make.
Here's how :

I cut a 5 7/8" square piece of Party Animal DSP and layered it onto the front of a 6" square cardbase.

I cut a strip of contrasting DSP, at 2" x 5 7/8" which I layered across the front of the card approx 1" up from the bottom, to be honest I eyeballed this I didn't measure it.

I cut 3 balloons from scraps of Pacific Point (blue), Tangerine Tango (orange) and Emerald Envy (green) coloured cardstock using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. I put a glue dot on the back of each balloon and attached a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine.

I stuck the Pacific Point balloon directly to the cardstock and using a stampin' dimensional I popped up the other 2 balloons. I gathered the 3 pieces of Whisper White Bakers twine together and fixed them in place with another glue dot. I tied a bow from Whisper White Bakers Twine and stuck it over the glue dot.

I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock 1 3/4" X 2 1/4" and stamped the sentiment onto it in Basic Black ink. I second generation stamped the streamers in Tangerine Tango around the sentiment and then matted this onto a piece of Pacific Point cardstock measuring 1 7/8" x 2 3/8".

A final touch was to draw some dimension on to the balloons using a white marker.

There we have it a fun, bright, birthday card!
A perfect quick make for any birthday.

The supplies are listed below, press the image to be taken through to my online shop should you want any or all of the supplies. But remember after 31 May they will no longer be available & I would hate you to miss out on this stampset, it is definitely a real keeper.

Sad as I am to say goodbye to the retiring Stamps and Dies, there are lots of amazing things in the new Catalogue. Don't forget if you are in the UK and want a new Catalogue from me, email me at : wowcrafting@outlook.com and I will get one in the post to you.

Thats all for today, thank you for stopping by.
Happy Stamping!

Good Morning Everyone

Yaay it is Saturday! I hope you all have lots of crafting planned for the weekend. I am not sure where you all are in the world but it has been a funny old week in the UK. One minute the sun has been shining for all it's worth, the next torrential rain. Hopefully more settled weather will come next week.

Anyhow, on to todays card.  Stampin' Up Notecards and Envelopes.... I can see the more savvy crafters among us nodding their heads.... why?..... because they KNOW.... they know that Notecards and Envelopes are a great buy! 20, Yes 20 cards AND envelopes for £5.50. If you haven't noticed them before they are on page 176 of the old Catalogue... you can find them HERE and for those of you that aren't in the know, they are one of the simplest ways to start a card & one of the most cost effective too.

So here is today's card using a Notecard

This is a customer thank you card I am making for my customers this month.
The Designer Series Paper is from the New Fresh Florals DSP that is in the New Catalogue. I have layered it on the Basic Black Cardstock, I left 1/8" between each layer. Next I went to my oval framelits and cut out a black and white oval with a straight edge and a Powder Pink one with a crimped edge, the framelits both crimped and plain come in one set, which makes this a really great product as you can see. I have stamped the Thank You from the New Daisy Delight stampset (again this will be in the New Catalogue) but just look at the font, isn't it gorgeous? It looks so solid and makes a real statement. I just know this will be my new "go to" stamp for my Thank You cards.
Using the Petit Petals punch,( which is being retired, so if you want one, get one quick as they are on a while stocks last basis), I punched 2 blossoms one in Basic Black and one in Powder Pink. I offset the petals and used a glue dot to stick them together and then put a white enamel dot in the middle. Couldn't be simpler!
Oh by the way.... isn't that Powder Pink to die for... it is one of the new 2017 - 2019 In Colours. You will definitely NEED some of that in your life...heehee!

I think this is such a pretty card and I hope my customers will like them.

If you would like a New Catalogue please email me
www.wowcrafting@outlook.com & I will get one in the post to you (if you are in the UK, that is).

If you would like to make a similar card to the one above, whilst you can't get the DSP just yet, you can easily make it with things in your own crafty stash, but if you want to purchase  some of the basics I have used, as usual I have listed them below. Just press on the image and it will take you through to my online shop.

In the meantime, Thank you for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
